Meet your Ski and Snowboard Instructors

Dear All

After a wonderful autumn the long awaited winter season has begun, the big woolly hats are out, the skis and boots have been dusted off, and the promises we made to our bodies to get ‘ski fit’ still linger…

The opportunity for campers to  experience the mix of skiing and snowboarding, make new friends, visit  iconic cultural destinations, and have an amazing fun filled adventure is finally here. The entire Les Elfes team is excited and cannot wait to meet each and every one of them.

Staff Training

Currently our team of staff are taking part in their two week training program prior to the students arrivals. Even though all of our instructors are experienced and qualified, they are put through a rigorous assessment of personal performance and pedagogy, as well as all aspects of mountain safety. Staff are also trained off snow, with our in house operations procedures, first aid and fire training providing vital information on how best to manage the potential scenarios that arise. Like all outdoor activities, skiing and snowboarding pose a certain element of risk, we make sure that our teams are trained to the highest standard, to ensure the quality of care is second to none.

Tuesday 13th – Skiing, Snowboarding, Clubs Night

Another exciting day here in Verbier with all students progressing well in skiing and snowboarding. Our first time skiers are off the beginners slope and hitting the blue runs following their instructors and having great fun on the mountain. With the sun shining yet again, some of our groups took some time out to enjoy the breath taking views with some well deserved hot chocolate.
