All the children did very well and we had some very quick results, especially from our Swiss School. Our beginner groups were very chuffed with their achievments, considering at the start of the week some of them had never been skiing or Snowboarding before. After the race they enjoyed more runs in the beautiful sunshine.
This afternoon, after a busy fun filled week, a lot of our students opted to rest at Les Elfes, joining in with games such as Table Tennis, Pool, Bracelet making, and Card Games. It was nice for them to just chill out after an energised day.. Everyone had a fantastic time dancing away tonight at our Disco in town. So today has been an emotional day for a lot of us here at camp as we have had many individuals leaving us who had been with us for one or two weeks. There were a lot of tears but it is great to know that so many friendships have been formed and lovely to see that they’re going to keep in touch with each other. However, we did have a lot of new arrivals today and everyone is getting to know each other over games of Uno, Cards and Jungle speed, whilst others are chilling out watching a movie.
During the day, our existing individuals had the option to go bowling and have a break from the mountain. Everyone had great fun and there were a few competitive games. The others chose not to have a break and continued to work on their technique as skiers and snowboarders and it was a lovely day to do so, with the sun shining and not a cloud in sight.
All our new arrivals have been kitted out with all their equipment needed for their first day on the mountain, and for some it is their first time on real snow! With exciting times ahead a lot of campers are having an early night ready to get up and go tomorrow.

The snowboarders have seriously improved and have been working on drills to improve their balance and posture. The skiers have also enjoyed learning new tricks to add to their performance.
We had one school sadly depart after lunch, it has been a wonderful week with excellent skiing and lots of fun activities in the afternoon and evenings. Some of our individuals chilled out playing in the games room while some ventured into the village to enjoy a milkshake and a crepe!

Today has been a brilliant day and we are all happy to welcome our new school here at Les Elfes. Upon arrival it was time for lunch before meeting their new instructors and heading up the mountain. They are all experienced skiers and boarders but it is the first time in Verbier for most. Everyone was super positive about their day back at camp and loved skiing in the fresh powder! Our existing groups had a blast today as conditions were great and they are all impressing the instructors with their dedication to learning.
This afternoon we had lots of activities on offer, sledging, baking, swimming and games. The sledgers had an awesome time riding down the mountain on bum boards, the bakers made some delicious cookies and our swimmers splashed around playing some games in the water. The atmosphere has been brilliant all evening, filming our very own music video. The campers were split into groups and came up with their own choreographies to their piece of music. We had some great clips and we are all looking forward to seeing the finished edit at prize giving. Elsewhere our individual campers spent their evening enjoying a meal in town. The italian restaurant was lovely and it was a nice experience for them to dine out together.

We have had heaps of snow during the night which continued into today so a powder day for everyone! All our campers persevered through many snow storms and were determined to stay out even in tough conditions. Some groups enjoyed a quick hot chocolate on mountain before carrying on.
Due to the hard conditions today many campers were extremely tired so opted to stay and relax at camp or headed to the village. We also welcomed a new group from China this evening who had spent their first day visiting Chateau de Chillion. They are all excited to be here and are ready to be ski fitted and get a good nights sleep after a long journey!

Today has been jam packed with activities, excursions, skiing and snowboarding.
Our school’s and a few individuals put on their warm winter clothes and headed out to different parts of the mountain to explore new areas and work on their techniques. Amazingly, nearly all our beginner groups today joined the rest of the groups at the top at for some of them it was their first time ever up a mountain. The beautiful sunshine helped keep motivations high and they did so well, all the instructors are very proud of what they have achieved in only a few days. Our new snowboarders are now able to link their turns and are falling less and less everyday!
Our individuals today had the opportunity to go on excursion and were able to discover new areas of Switzerland. They had a great time at the new Nestle Factory which was very interactive and modern. Then they managed to fit in a bit of shopping in Vevey which they were extremely pleased about and also had the chance to visit the United Nations in Geneva, the second largest in the world and a very interesting, important building.
Tonight there has been a lot going on, including a torch light walk up the mountain, a very competitive and exciting Music Quiz/Game show as well as a mexican styled ‘Fajita’ night in the chalets for our individuals to chill out and bond over board games.
