Sports & Activites

Core Activities

Our core activities are our adventure sports in which we offer progressive courses enabling students to become independent leaders and to develop their personal skills and group management skills.

Our core activities include rock climbing, mountaineering & orienteering, paddle sports and mountain biking and each course offers students the opportunity to learn new skills, develop techniques and to take home a certificate detailing which criteria in the curriculum they have achieved so that it may form part of a larger record of achievement.

At Les Elfes our Summer Camps provide more than just great activities and experiences.

Guides & professionals

At Les Elfes we have a huge responsibility for the safety of the students in all of the activities. Safety is our highest priority.
All of our staff must have a valid First Aid Certificate and a current Criminal Records Check before beginning their training at Les Elfes.
All our summer staff monitors, instructors, core staff and managers undertake a two-week training course before the start of each season combining one week of technical training and one week to learn and become acquainted with the Philosophy of Les Elfes.
With many of these activities Les Elfes work with external guides/professionals who are specialists in the corresponding fields, such as rock climbing guides, golf/horse riding/ tennis coaches to name a few, all are vetted and hold the relevant qualifications.

Campers play on an 18 holes course at an altitude of 1500m with stunning views over the mountains.  There is also a private practice area, driving range and an approach (pitch & putt) golf course.
