Tuesday April 4th 2017 Escape Rooms, Chalet Night, Torchlight Walk

Today was another awesome day here at Les Elfes and campers made sure they made the most of the great weather and snow.
All the groups headed out to practice all the skills they have been learning over the past days and a lot of the groups have progressed from the magic carpet to the big slopes now hitting blues and reds and really toning their skills.
This afternoon after relaxing over hot chocolate and snacks the campers all signed up for various afternoon activities some got to go try their luck escaping from the Verbier escape rooms, some baked some yummy chocolate chip cookies, some visited the village for some shopping and crepes, others had their language courses and some stayed at les elfes and played games.
Tonight all of the campers who live in the Chalet got to enjoy their at the chalet and hang out their for the night.
The rest of the campers after dinner went on a awesome torchlight walk up the mountain to check out the stars and  others participated in the cube which is a bunch of different games to beat the clock.
Everyone here is now off to bed to catch up on some sleep for the big day to come tomorrow.


Crans Montana. Tuesday 4th April.

Day 3 with are new campers in Crans Montana. The sun was shining and the snow was excellent. All the groups have done amazing with the beginner groups mastering how to turn and stop on the magic carpet, whilst the advanced groups are learning how to carve on red runs.

The campers came back for snacks and hot chocolate this afternoon. We then went to the cinema in Crans to see the new Beauty and Beast film, which all the campers loved they even cheered at the end. We then came back for a delicious dinner at les Elfes with a table football competition where all the campers got competitive.

Friday 31st March. Ski race, Prize giving and packing.

Crans Montana. Friday 31st of March.

All the campers woke up on their final day of skiing to beautiful blue skies. All the ski instructors have been highly impressed, the beginners have managed to accomplish their first red run which is a major achievement. The advanced groups has conquered the glacier run with great skill and style whilst improving their technique. In the afternoon all the groups participated in the ski race, which showed us some amazing new little ski racers.

This afternoon all the campers came back for hot chocolate and snacks. We then had prize giving where the results from the ski race where announced and special prizes given out. There where smiley faces all around at prize giving. Packing and games followed. All the instructors and animators have had an amazing week teaching these campers.

Looking forward to our last night with these campers and looking forward to welcoming are new set of campers tomorrow.


We have had a fantastic day to highlight the end of a brilliant with our schools and individuals here on camp. Everyone was full of energy this morning and ready to get out skiing for the last time. They have improved tremendously since the start of the week and their attitude on and off the slopes has seriously impressed both the instructors and animation staff.

This afternoon we had outdoor and indoor games as well as town to buy those all important souveniers. One group also enjoyed a milkshake at the milk bar and had a look round the free ride world tour stalls in the village. This evening we all celebrated everyones achievements at tonights prize giving. The instructors awarded medals for yesterdays ski race as well as special prizes. The animation team gave out prizes for this weeks star campers and the tidiest rooms. Afterwards it was time to head down to the cinema room to watch the slideshow and the music video. We have had a brilliant week and want to thank our campers here for their enthusiasm and energy and hope to see them again next year!


30th March – Skiing, Snowboarding, Race Day, BBQ and Disco!

Today has been full of action with our ski race taking place in La Chaux. All our groups had the opportunity to take part in an exciting slalom style race, where they were competing for a first place position with the quickest time. Everyone had a great time, and are now eager to find out their results which we will reveal at our prize giving on Friday. After they were treated to a lovely BBQ in the sunshine, enjoying the views and of course the food! What a day!

Back at camp on of our schools headed out to enjoy a milkshake and a crepe at Café in town, a great way for them to socialise and laugh about their funny moments so far. Others chose to do some souvenir shopping, buying presents for friends and family back home whilst the rest chilled out at camp and made the most of the great weather by playing games outside.

Tonight everyone had lots of fun at our weekly disco. Everyone had been looking forwards to it and it great seeing everyone smiling and dancing away with old and new friends!


Crans Montana. Thursday 30th March. 149 726

Another action packed day in Crans Montana; with a full day skiing on the mountain for all the campers. We had beautiful warm sunny weather here which all the campers enjoyed. The beginner groups continue to improve; with the intermediate groups impressing their instructors at every turn.

Everyone came back for hot chocolate and snacks; then this afternoon we hosted a wii and table football competition, which all the campers enjoyed. Followed by the legendary disco held at the pub in Crans town. We had some amazing dancers this year, with everyone pulling out their best moves.

All the campers are looking forward to their last day of skiing in Crans Montana.







29th March – Skiing, Snowboarding, Excursion, Outdoor Games and La Fureur!

Today has been full on with plenty of activities and excitement. One of our schools were up and out skiing and snowboarding in the beautiful sunshine, learning more from their instructors and exploring new slopes. One group took a picnic and enjoyed their lunch in the 4 Valleys – what a treat!

For one of our schools it was excursion day, a chance to have a rest from the mountain but to explore different parts of Switzerland. They headed to the chocolate and cheese factory which they loved and then on for some shopping in Vevey. For our individuals they had the opportunity to go to Chamonix and visit the Glaciers by train. After they had lunch in town followed by some retail therapy.

This afternoon we made the most of the sunshine and had activities and games outside including basketball, volleyball and Smite. Tonight was pretty craz


Crans Montana. Wednesday 29th March.

Day four with are campers here in Les Elfes. Again it was another blue bird day on the mountains. All the groups have continued to impress their instructors with their progression in skiing from both the beginner groups who are starting to parallel turn to the advanced who are now accomplishing more difficult techniques which they could not do at the beginning of the week.

The campers all came back for hot chocolate and snacks this afternoon. We then all went to the cinema where we saw the new Beauty and Beast movie, which everyone enjoyed immensely. After this we played the music quiz, which included guess the song, artist and act out a song name given. All the campers loved this and we found out they all had very loud singing voices.

Everyone is looking forward to tomorrow for more skiing and activities.






Tuesday 28th March Fashion show, Torchlight Walk, The Cube


Today was another fun filled day and the weather was great once again. Most campers have progressed to the mountain and it was some of their first time up there are they all said they really enjoyed it. All the instructors are very pleased with how hard everyone is working and how much they are progressing each day.

After skiing the camper had the chose of different activities which they all really enjoyed. These activities were to pop into town for some more shopping and maybe even a milkshake, play games at les elfes for example: football, basketball, card games, table tennis and many more. Some campers even got the option to do a fashion show where they dressed one of their friends up with different craft materials and they went down the catwalk showing off there creation.

In the evening the individuals had the option to go on dine out where they went to the village and had a lovely meal out. Another group here went on a lovely torchlight walk around verbier looking at the stunning views. The final group of campers did an activity called the cube which they all got very competitive at and competed against each other to win points for their teams.


Crans- Montana. Tuesday 28th March.

Another fun filled day had by all the campers. Again we woke up to a beautiful blue skied day. All of the beginner groups started on the mountain where they successfully navigated blue runs and a pommel lift. The more advanced groups tackled the glacier run which all groups enjoyed immensely, especially with the fantastic view.

All the campers came back for hot chocolate and snacks followed by shopping in Crans town. Where all the campers brought souvenirs for their families and amazing cakes from the bakery. This evening we played Crans vs Montana a game where two teams go head to head in games such as orange pass, balloon game and the mummy game. The teams where called the pink fluffy unicorns and the rainbow penguins.

All the campers have gone to bed now and looking forward to their fourth day skiing in Crans Montana.





Saturday 26th March – Skiing, baking, town & ice skating

It has been a wonderful first day for our new arrivals as they settle into camp. This morning they met their instructors for the first time and were introduced to the rest of their ski or snowboard  group. Everyone new to skiing went along to the beginner slope where they practiced putting skis on and off. Afterwards it was time to learn how to stop and do snow plow. The more experienced riders explored Verbier mountain and practiced improving their technique.

Everyone had a really fun day and returned to camp with smiley faces and lots of stories. This afternoon one school headed into Verbier town to have a look round while another group baked some delicious cookies! This evening we all went to the ice rink to do some skating and ice hockey before having a cup of hot chocolate back at Les Elfes.

Everyone is super excited to head back out tomorrow.



Crans – Montana. Sunday, 26th March.

We have all had an amazing first day skiing with all are new campers in Crans Montana. Everyone was woken up at 7.30 am to enjoy a filling breakfast and to get ready for the first day of skiing. All the new campers where split into 5 ski groups with 2 beginner groups. The beginner groups went to the magic carpet, where they learnt how to snow plow with some managing to parallel turn by the end of the day, whilst the other three intermediate ski groups explored the rest mountain and started to improve their individual ski technique ; even though the weather conditions where slightly foggy today all the ski groups managed amazingly well.

After skiing everyone came back for snacks and hot chocolate. This afternoons activity was Bin bag fashion show where all the campers split into 4 groups and made a costume based on the theme animal kingdom, we had a killer mouse, Tarzan, sausage dog and a narwhale. Following on from this we had a delicious dinner and then went bowling, which all the kids enjoyed with many of them getting strikes.  Everyone can not wait for Skiing tomorrow.   

1st March – Snow, Skiing, Cinema, Crans vs. Montana, Snowboarding and Excursion Day!


Day 4 was off to a fantastic start, all throughout breakfast the kids could see the fresh snow falling as they geared up for the day. All groups were able to make it up the mountain to enjoy a full day of powder.

Once returning from the day the campers prepared to go watch Oscar-nominated film Lion starring Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman at the local movie theater in Crans. Following the amazing film, they enjoyed some supper and were able to get cozy in the chalet for an indoor game of Crans vs. Montana. Which included various mini games such as Over & Under, Orange Pass, and Keep the Card.

Tomorrow is going to be another fantastic day of skiing with all the fresh snow that is expected overnight!

VERBIER: Goodbye February and hello March! This morning we woke up to more snow here in Verbier which is great for the conditions on the mountain and means our skiers and snowboarders had the chance to ski in some powder today. They had great fun and for our beginners it meant a very soft landing. Everyone did very well on the slopes, following their instructors advice and progressing massively from day one!

For one of our School groups from Ethiopia and the individuals, it was time to ditch their snow gear and head off for excursion day. They were very excited as their first stop was the new Neste Museum which is very interactive and modern and of course a chance to sample some chocolate. After, they were straight off to the Cheese Factory followed by some shopping in Vevey, which went down well with all our campers. They’ve had an amazing day and it’s great for them to explore new areas in Switzerland.

Tonight everyone was super energetic during our evening activities. We had round two of La Fureur and The Qube, which got all the children dancing, singing and very competitive. After a long day, it is finally time for bed!!

27th February – Skiing, Snowboarding, Cooking Club, Hiking, Music Video, Sledging, and Music Quiz

CRANS MONTANA: Day 2 at Les Elfes Crans Montana with MIC Merbella and they were off to a great start on the slopes starting nice and early. Some of the groups went to a different side of the mountain called Viollete while the beginner group started out at the magic carpet but were able to make it up the button lift later on the day. For lunch 4 out of the 5 groups had lunch on the mountain and were able to enjoy a stunning view with their food. After skiing everyone had some nice hot chocolate to warm them up before heading for sledging. After about 45 minutes of sledging they got tired and we decided to have a snowball fight to end the afternoon. After dinner the campers all got into comfy clothing and even some of them were in pajamas for a music quiz. The campers were able to demonstrate some fantastic dancing, singing, and an excellent knowledge of artists.


VERBIER: We have had great reports back from the mountain today with all our campers putting in 100% effort in their skiing and snowboarding. Our beginners are progressing quickly, with natural talent and are hopefully heading up to the mountain tomorrow on day 3. They are all super excited. Our more experienced groups covered a lot of ground today and explored some new areas, keeping them on their toes and really pushing their comfort zones.

Back at camp, as it was such a lovely day, one of our options was a afternoon hike up the mountain to take in the views and get some more fresh air. There are some tired legs tonight! We also had a cooking club at Les Elfes and all our groups made some scrummy cookies which we had tonight for desert. Whilst some others chose to relax at camp a lot also opted for a swim at the local sports centre which went down a treat after a long day skiing and boarding.

Tonight after diner we had two activities under way. All our school groups participated in a very fun energetic music video which we can’t wait to edit and watch at the end of the week. Our Individuals on the other hand headed into town and put their brains to the test in the Escape Rooms. They all did very well and some even managed to escape in 60minutes. Well done to them!!

Sunday 26th Febuary – Ski Fit, Skiing, Snowboarding, Crans Hunt, Bowling

CRANS MONTANA: Last night we welcomed MIC Merbella to Les Elfes Crans Montana, and what a first day it has been today! Ski fit took place first thing, followed by the groups heading for their first morning skiing and snowboarding 🏂 🎿 One group of beginners headed to the learner slope, whilst the others ventured up the mountain!

It was a beautiful bluebird day, and all the campers were raring to go! Back to Les Elfes for lunch out on the terrace, followed by some more skiing and also a chance to watch the final of the slalom World Cup.

This afternoon the campers ventured out to get to know the town and this evening a bit of fun with bowling 🎳


It has been a super sunday here in Verbier with our new groups absolutely smashing it on their skis. For many it was their first time and they all tried so hard to pick it up. There was lots of positive energy and all the instructors were very impressed.

This afternoon everyone had the option to visit the village or stay and relax on camp playing games. Many were very tired after the first day but everyone arrived back at camp with an extremely positive attitude. We all had a lovely time walking and having a look round. This evening it was ice skating night at the rink. Everyone enjoyed skating around and having races with each other! After some hot chocolate it was time for bed to get some much needed rest ready for another big day tomorrow.

14th February – Skiing, Snowboarding, Snow Tubing, Torchlight Walk, Bowling, Town & Swimming

CRANS MONTANA: Day 3 on the slopes with our school from Dubai, and yet another beautiful bluebird day here in Crans Montana! Some of the groups ventured up to the glacier today and enjoyed the views, and others ventured to the baby snowpark to have some fun on the jumps.

After skiing, the campers went snow tubing, which was as always enjoyed by all the campers whizzing and swirling down the slope! This evening was a venture out to the bowling alley, the best score of the night being 142! 🎳


VERBIER: The sun was out yet again today with beautiful blue skies and hot temperatures. Our beginners who have been Learning down the mountain went up for the first time today and they did amazing!! They were so happy with their achievements and it’s great to see so many children with massive smiles on their faces. Our more Advanced groups had the chance to explore new areas of the mountain today, keeping them on their toes.

Back at camp, again there were plenty of activities going on. A lot of our children opted for swimming, a time to splash around with their friends and relax in the hot tub. Others had the chance to do some souviner shopping in town whilst the rest chilled out at camp.

Tonight a lot of our children went on a Torch Light walk, a great way to see Verbier by night, lite up by flaming torches. Back at camp we had the Qube and a Bin Bag Fashion show.


Friday Feb 10th 2017- Skiing, Escape Rooms, Departures & Prize Giving

CRANS MONTANA: Final day on the slopes with our amazing school from Dubai! The ski race had to be postponed to the afternoon due to the strong winds, but all the campers managed to still do brilliantly, going super fast down the boarder cross!

This afternoons prize giving was lovely, giving out lots of prizes and medals which meant lots of happy campers!  All the kids are packed ready for their journey home to Dubai tomorrow!



VERBIER: Today was another amazing day here at Les Elfes the sun was shining and everyone was super excited to get out on the mountain to enjoy for some there last day here on the slopes.
Today for some of our campers it was only a half day skiing before heading back to Les Elfes for lunch and then departing whilst the rest of the campers enjoyed the rest of the afternoon skiing and snowboarding around the mountain with their new friends and instructors.
This afternoon some of our campers went to the Escape Rooms here in Verbier whilst others went to the village for some last minuet special gifts.
Tonight was a awesome night of celebration of all the campers, the staff and the instructors celebrating all of their accomplishments from the week but it also meant a sad goodbye for some as tomorrow we have a number of departures.
Everyone is off to bed now to catch some sleep for the big day tomorrow.

Crans Montana – 8th Feb – Skiing, snow tubing and Crans vs Montana indoor game


Another amazing day on the slopes for all the groups! Still loads of snow which means amazing conditions on the slopes! Midway through the week now; and after a much needed lie in this morning, all the groups were raring to go skiing! All the instructors are really impressed by the level of all the skiers, and all the campers are still having lots of fun with big smiles on their faces!

This afternoon the campers went snow tubing, which is always fun for all and this evening they took part in the Crans vs Montana game, where two teams complete challenges such as orange pass, musical chairs and many more games!


Another Snowy day here in Verbier so the powder was brilliant but extremely challenging for our skiers and snowboarders, particularly the beginners. Our instructors were super impressed with their performance and determination throughout the day in the conditions.

Lots of our individuals went on excursion today and had a fantastic time visiting different parts of Switzerland. They visited the Olympic Museum first which was very popular with the students followed by the Cailler chocolate factory. Of course everyone loved this as they got to taste different types of chocolate! Elsewhere one group had the opportunity to go to Aosta in Italy and explored a castle in the historic area before looking around the town.


Crans Montana – Tuesday 7th Feb – 3rd day on the slopes, shopping and torchlight walk

Day 3 at Crans Montana, and what a week it has already been so far! All the groups are now whizzing around the slopes, even the beginners, which is amazing progression from our students from Dubai! 🎿

Over the past couple of days, the campers have  been sledging, had an epic snowman building competition, ☃️ enjoyed some indoor activities including music quiz and bowling, but have also managed to have some down time with shopping and movie night!

Mid way through the week and all the campers still have bags of energy! Very excited to see what the rest of the week brings!

Today has been another snowy day which has been perfect for our children here on camp. Many of our skiers have had the opportunity to ski around and explore different areas of the mountain today. On return to camp there was lots of smiley faces and stories of the day.

This afternoon we had lots of activities for our groups such as sledging, snow man building and spaghetti towers. This evening our school groups took part in a torchlight walk or joined in with a music game show. Our individuals baked some yummy cookies and did some design and build.
