Tuesday 29th September 2015 – rock climbing, games
Hello everyone! Another great day ahead of us!
After a great breakfast everyone was ready for activities! While half of kids went rock climbing others gathered for teachers led activity – marshmallow challenge. Kids had so much fun building tower and competing which team will have the strongest, highest and prettiest tower. But everyone was waiting for finale when each team actual got to try their tower, mmmm yummeee!
Meanwhile other group of kids went rock climbing to a real climbing wall down in Sembrancher, just 20 min drive with the bus and everyone was on place for some physical activities. After safety instructions from guides kids put on helmets and harnesses and where ready for challenge. Some needed help with instruction, some with encouragement, but others went straight up showing great climbing techniques. We are so proud of you all!
Once everyone was back in camp it was time to shower and have little bit of free time with activities on camp site, but after dinner is was time for Who wants to be a Millionaire! Kids where enthusiastic and showed great knowledge about a lot of different subjects. Team work played a big role in figuring out the correct answer! Great job winners!

Friday 25th September 2015 – prize giving, departure
We are glad to spend such a great week with such great group of kids! We are sad to say goodbye, but we know you will come back next year!
After breakfast kids went to rooms to pack their bags and check out. Once it was done everyone gather for prize giving. Tidy room competition, different awards for week long challenges and finally slide show with all the photos from activities that got students exited and remember all the fun times throughout the week!

Thursday 24th September 2015 – Labyrinth, Salt Mines
Beautiful sunny day here in Verbier! It has been snowing higher up so we can feel the chilly breeze down here as well, but that wont stop us! Once warmer clothes were put on kids where ready to go!
Labyrinth – adventure park, was their first stop. What a fun time in there – bouncing castles, maze, slides and so much more to do. Kids definitely enjoyed their time participating in every single game and challenge and on the way to Salt mines couldn’t stop talking about their experience and compare it to others.
In the afternoon a little train took kids inside salt mines where they could try out mining, found out so much new about salt, taste it straight from the mountain and learned history of how it was discovered.
During free time everyone had to pack their bags as tomorrow is departure day! But it was done it was time for Prize giving and Slide show where ids could see all the photos taken during their stay here 🙂
Wednesday 23rd September – Aqua park, Ropes course
Aqua park day! Kids are so exited to spend some time on slides and bubble baths.
Day started with good breakfast for everyone, but as soon as it was finished monitors didn’t have to wait for too long until everyone where packed for fun water activities! Once teachers made sure kids had all necessary it was time to leave.
Kids had so much fun – water pirate ship, slides, lazy rivers and many more fun activities. All of that made kids hungry, so when it was lunch time everyone could finally rest, but just for a while as the next activity promised to be great fun as well!
Ropes course made kids challenge themselves and their classmates. They where hanging in tree and jumping from one platform to another like little monkeys. Zip lining were their all time favorite!!
One everyone came back to camp it was time to rest and have a shower after a long day full of fun activities. But day isnt over just yet, there is still time for evening activity- Boys vs. Girls!

Monday 21st- arrival day, team games, treasure hunt
Beautiful sunny morning here in Verbier! We are getting ready to welcome new group of students to spend this week with us.
Students arrived just in time for lunch. After quick check in everyone gathered in dinning room for lunch and welcome speech where they got introduced with our rules and expectations for the week. It was time for something more fun after unpacking like treasure hunt and team games in the afternoon.
Straight after lunch kids where ready for some fun! Outdoor activities where just time for such a sunny day! Kids absolutely loves team games and where getting competitive once they where divided in teams, but teams mates encouraged each other all the way thru challenges.
After dinner kids gather to play bin bag fashion show!
Wednesday 16th September – Archery, Mountain biking, Via Ferrata
Fun day here in Verbier! Great outdoor activities and good weather to complete the day!
A group of kids went to Archery. All as one said it was great experience and fun for everyone. Students had to find their targets hidden in woods and fields. Some kids showed great map reading skills and found targets without problem, for some it was a bit harder to hit the target, but after a short practice every managed to get necessary points and finish the assignment successfully.
Meanwhile other groups went mountain biking up in the mountains near Verbier. After safety speech everyone put on their helmets and made sure they have the right bikes. For warm-up everyone rode to Medran and after took gondola up to begging of their fun adventure.
Other group had so much fun in Via Ferrata. Students where brave to climb up the cliff and proved to be not only fiscally but also mental strong – they helped and encouraged each other.
Design & Build and Cooking clubs in the evening was a lot of fun and everyone got involved and tried to make the best cheese cake! Yummeee!
Tuesda15th September – Mountain biking, Via Ferrata, Team Games, Trottinetts
Morning started early in Les Elfes camp! Students couldn’t sleep for too long as today promised to be full of great outdoor activities!
4 different groups did 4 different activities in the morning and swapped in the afternoon. Mountain biking was one of the most challenging activities of the day, but everyone handled it very well and managed to surprise instructors with their skills and safe riding and good advises to others.
Team games where good challenge for everyone who thought it wouldn’t be as challenging. Strong team work and clear communication work where keys to success.
Via Ferrata was another great challenge of today! It wasn’t easy, but students showed great climbing skills and where not afraid of high. Beautiful view was the prize for everyone once reaching the top. We are so proud of you all!
Trottinetting was so much fun! Most of kids haven’t done it before, but after trying they didn’t wanted to finish.

Monday 14th September – Ropes course, Rock climing, bridge swinging!
Beautiful day here in Verbier! So much fun activities for kids today! We are happy to welcome such a big group to our camp and enjoy this short time together!
Rock climbing got students challenged, but they where not afraid to climb higher and higher and challenge each other. It took a lot of strength and practice to finally reach the top and some did it more than once! Impressive!
Meanwhile other group had bridge swinging which was so much fun and also scary for the first moment. But after it was time for Ropes course. Most experienced students straight after practicing went to harder track and try their strength, but zip lines where the most fun for everyone!
More fun in the evening when students will make their own Lip Dup!

Thursday 10th September 2015 – ropes course, prize giving!
Another great day with great activities! Kids where excited and sad at the same time- ropes course are one on the activities that kids like the most as it is challenging and fun at the same time. But this is also a departure day for all kids which makes us sad as it was such a nice group to work with!
After having lots of fun up in the trees it was time for prize giving – tidy room competition and challenge winner during their stay in our camp where given Les Elfes souvenirs for nice memories!
We hope you all had a great time because we sure did! See you all next year!
Wednesday 9th September – Mountain biking, Rock climbing
Another beautiful and sunny day here in Verbier! Kids this morning where quick to wake up and it was such a fun day ahead.
Mountain biking in the morning was refreshing but also challenging. Some kids where very confident while other needed s little guidance on balance and speed. Lunch break was just in time for everyone to relax and get ready for the next activity.
Rock climbing was so much fun! After safety instructors kids started to put on helmets and harness. Braver kids went first and others while waiting played team games and encouraged climbers. Instructors where impressed with their skills and after each time kids where able to go higher and shoe better skills.
All day in fresh air got kids tired, but that didn’t stop them from participating in shopping or swimming during their free time. After dinner kids where ready for some fun in disco!!
Tuesday 8th September 2015 – Hike day!
Weather is just perfect for a long day hike today! Sun is shining bright, but you can feel the autumn freshness in the air.
After putting good shoes on and comfortable clothes everyone was ready for a hike. Good breakfast was a great start to prepare ourselves for a good hiking day. All day long beautiful views, physical challenges, fun and smiles on kids faces! Have to admit – everyone came back tired, but kids had free time to rest before dinner and evening activity!
Monday 7th September 2015 – Arrival day, Team games, Ice skating
We are excited to welcome another great group to our camp! It is a beautiful day for some outdoor activities.
After arriving, checking in to the rooms and having some time to unpack kids where ready for lunch -after a long way they where hungry. Kids where introduced with camp rules and after welcome speech it was time for some fun! Kids absolutely loved team games and where working really well together! In the afternoon everyone went to Ice skating – time to play games on the ice! After putting on helmets and ice skates kids when to ice with no fear and started to show their skills. For some it was a bit harder, but there was a big support team and friends who could teach how to ice skate properly!
Great fun today, but it is just the first day! See you all tomorrow with more exciting news!
Tuesday 1st of September 2015 – Rock climbing, Egg dropp chalange
Today kids woke up early and where ready for new challenges! While half group went to rock climbing others joined egg drop challenge here in the camp, but after lunch groups swapped.
After sunny and hot week rain have surprised us, but everyone where up for the challenge. Teams who where doing Edd drop competition where excited to build their own nest strong enough for egg not to brake when it falls. Their first assignment was to design what they will build and figure out what kids of materials from the nature can be used. Once that was done it was time to build what was created on the paper before. It took quite a long time as kids had to figure out how to make it safe for the egg. Finlay it was time to try their nests and see what other teams have created. Challenge was on and teams where exited to see eggs flying down.
Meanwhile other half of the group where rock climbing. After safety speech kids where ready to put on harnesses and helmets and try out their skills. Some kids where a bit cautious and where letting other to try out first so wee technique and best ways to get until top. Other when straight to the top showing amazing skills and a good example to others.
Great day full of sports and different challenges! But in the evening kids can expect more fun in our evening activity- Who wants to be a Millionaire?
Monday 31st August 2015 – Arrival day, Olympic games
Another sunny morning here in Verbier- perfect day to welcome our new school group!
Students arrived just in time for lunch. After checking in their rooms they enjoy lunch, but after introduction speech where monitors explained rules of the cam it was time for little bit more fun – Olympic games! It such a great weather it would be shame not to do outdoor activities! All kids enjoyed that a lot and where counting points of their team to keep themselves on top of each challenge.
After refreshing shower some kids where ready for some optional activities in the afternoon, but fun wasn’t over just yet.
Straight after dinner kids started gather outside for La Fureur -Music Quiz. Kids got divided in to two groups and had to compete for the loudest singing, entertaining dance moves and much more.

Friday 28th August 2015 – Lake day, Prize giving
Another sunny day in Verbier! Perfect weather for day near on the lake banana boating and tubing! Kids where full of energy this morning and ready for fun!
One by one kids started to get on banana boat and tubes, some found more interesting to paddle board or water ski. But there was definitely something for everyone.
After returning back to camp kids had to pack as everyone is leaving tomorrow. But fun wasn’t over just yet! After some quick last shopping it was time for dinner and prize giving! All kids gathered in the big Les Elfes chalet and the monitors put on a show for them. Various awards were given for the competitions and activities that took place during the week, like the tidiest room, the sports tournaments and the clubs competitions. A star camper was awarded the highest prize for best representing the core Les Elfes values.
After the prizes where given out and the monitors made their speeches everybody headed down to the cinema room to get their sports and languages certificates and watch the videos and slideshows the staff had prepared for them.
Now everybody is saying goodbye and getting ready to got bed, not forgetting exchanging contacts and a few tearful goodbyes … or rather – `till next time`!

Wednesday 26th August 2015 – Languages, Fun Planet, Bowling
Another beautiful day here in Verbier started with language classes, but kids were more exited about going to Fun planet after lunch which promised to be great fun!
Straight after languages and lunch kids were ready for adventure! Their afternoon started with Lase Tag which is team activity where players attempt to score points by tagging targets, typically with a special targeting device. After instructions kids were ready to play! They got divided in 2 teams and fallow instruction exactly as given by supervisor. Once they got inside the play room the game could begin! Kids were running around the place try to avoid being tagged and try to tag as many players from other team as possible.
Laser game took a lot of energy away, but days wasn’t over just yet. A nice dinner and then time for Bowling! It was as competitive as always and all the children had a great time!
Tuesday 25th August 2015 – Excursion to Chamonix
Beautiful day here in Verbier! For some kids it started with horse riding lessons straight after breakfast but day continued with excursion from everyone.
Excursion promised to be exiting as it was in France, Chamonix – one of the oldest ski resorts in French, beautiful town with great sightseeing’s mostly because of majestic Mt Blanc- north side of Chamonix. Excursion day is always lot of fun – seeing new places, experiencing breathtaking views and of course buying a few souvenirs to take home! The tour started by taking the steep gondola ride up to Aguille du Midi. The gondola still holds the record for the highest vertical ascent in the world going all the way up to 3800 meters high. After that the headed down to the beautiful traditional village for a cultural visit. The highlight was definitely visiting the magical Ice Palace on the Mont Blanc Glacier, before their own stroll around shops in town.
A very long but equally fun day!
Saturday 22nd August 2015 – camping, rock climbing, outdoor activities
Beautiful morning today! Sun is shinning bright – perfect for outdoor activities!
Once Discovery kids where finished with their morning routine it was time to pack their tents back in to bags so the most fun part of the day can start – swimming and games in Crans-Montana lake and nearest play ground. Kids had so much fun!
Explorers and Pioneers enjoyed their time near mountain hut. Teams games and hike around the lake filled their morning, but nice swim after was just in time to refresh. Once everyone came back to Verbier it was time for lunch and Rock climbing. After safety instructions kids started to put on their harnesses and helmets and where ready for challenge! Playgroup, football pitch where the options for those who had to wait for their turn to climb!
Friday 21st August 2015-Mountain hut, camping
Morning in camp started with language classes, but kids couldn’t keep their minds of the later activity – mountain hut.
After having lunch on camp everyone started to get ready for sleepover in mountain hut and tents. Kids were excited and couldn’t wait to finally get there. After packing what they thought would be necessary everyone was ready to leave straight after lunch.
Discovery skids began the journey over to the Crans Montana camping place straight after lunch. They swung and zipped around the ropes course for the rest of the afternoon, before eventually heading back to campsite for dinner and a special treat – a campfire marshmallow session!
Explorers and Pioneers went to Lac Tanay. After everyone settled in camping place it was time for fire building sessions. Kids didn’t have to look for all things necessary far and soon enough bonfire was ready for BBQ and marshmallows.
Thursday 20th August 2015 – Excursion!
Beautiful morning here in Verbier! After nice breakfast sun was shining bright just in time for group photo when all kids gather together for this great memory of the session! Great day for great excursions!
Two different destinations of choice. Most of students chose to spend day in Aosta, Italy. Beautiful city lying between two rivers and surrounded by majestic mountains. A lot of monuments, historical buildings and nice walks through city center. After taking pictures in old town everyone had a nice pic-nic lunch enjoying the views.
Other students had opportunity to visit Chocolate factory. After a great guided fairy-tail like excursion through factor. Kids got to experience everything about chocolate from who it was discovered, used, evolved during time until nowadays. The most exciting part was at the end of tour when students got to try every chocolate possible and eat as much as they wanted. After chocolate tasting everyone had chance to buy their favorite ones for family and friends.
Everyone came back to camp just in time for dinner and enjoyed Mexican party with fajitas and tortillas with different sauces and fillings.

Wednesday 19th August 2015 – Ropes course, Labyrinth, Clubs night
This morning kids couldn’t wait to get out of the camp for Ropes course and Labyrinth.
Explorers and Pioneers went to Aigle and tried their strength up in Ropes course – one of kids favorite activities all times! Trying all of zip lines kids were exited and scared at the same time. Different platforms, roads to take made them exited to compete with each other about fastest time to complete the tasks. Kids who finished earlier helped other from the ground with useful tips and cheerful encouragements.
Discovery kids had so much fun in Labyrinth! Everyone started with assignment to find hidden treasures inside the Labyrinth, Kids got all exited and tried their hardest to find all of the treasure boxes! After first challenge was completed it was time for bouncing castles – so much fun!! Puzzles, games, tasks, slides and so much more- kids absolutely loved it!
Once everyone came back free time was about to start. After getting their phones kids went to their optional activities, shopping or resting in camp – bouncing castles can get your really tired!
After a nice meal kids were ready for Les Elfes Clubs nigh where kids choose to do cooking club and made some great chocolate crispy cakes – yummy!
