Sunday 2 March- First Tracks and Torchlights

Another sunny day in Verbier! The kids hit the slopes bright and early, though the snow was a bit tricky with a layer of ice hiding underneath. It made for some slippery moments, but they powered through, laughing at each other’s tumbles (and their own).

After the morning session, we all gathered back at the camp for a hearty lunch. Stew and bread made everyone’s spirits high, especially after a few minor falls.

Then it was back to skiing, and this time, the kids were even more determined. They’re getting the hang of it!

Later, we had a sweet snack—hot chocolate and pastries—and then it was time to explore the town. Some kids went ice skating, while others headed to the kitchen for some baking fun.

Dinner was a feast, and after, we wrapped up with a torch walk through the snowy night. The kids’ faces glowed in the torchlight. It was the perfect end to a magical day.
