We offer field trips from the end of April until the end of October. We are fully flexible in terms of length and dates. However, a standard program will usually run 7 days
Unlike many similar camps, over half of our staff are employed for the full year to ensure that the standard of activities we offer is consistently high at all children’s camps. Our staff is also certified as Adventurous Journey Award Supervisor and Assessor for those wishing to organize a Duke of Edinburgh expedition. .
Les Elfes camps offer large breakfasts and varied lunches and dinners designed to satisfy all students based on our experience with camps and student travel programmes since 1987.
We offer your students fully supervised, organised and guided ski trips for the entire trip, usually 1 or 2 weeks, Saturday to Saturday and we guarantee snow from early December to late April.
Located in world-class ski resorts, the classic Les Elfes ski trip includes 6 days of skiing, with fully supervised après-ski and evening activities. The program includes a ski race with bbq on the mountain and prize-giving show.
School ski trips do not always get the right consideration regarding educational component they bring to students, but ski trips actually bring a lot of various positive and good skills.
One of the many ways in which Les Elfes stands out from other providers is that we are the owner of 5 purpose-built campuses located in premier resorts in Japan and Switzerland. These campuses have been built to welcome children and are never used as hotels. As such, the only guests you will ever find on our campuses are children aged 6-17 and their accompanying staff.

We offer one free space for every 10 paying students
Of course we have risk assessments, insurance certificates, business license and all other documents readily available for you
All our campuses have clinics located within the village (max 5-min driving distance) while the nearest hospitals are located between 15 to 30 minutes driving distance from each resort. In addition, our campuses of Verbier and La Tzoumaz also have a nurse onsite.
Les Elfes can issue an invitation letter to facilitate the visa application process. The letter will confirm student’s participation in ski trip with accommodation, meals and activities fully covered by the camp.
If the camper is also insured with Les Elfes, we will issue a separate medical certificate to confirm full medical coverage during the stay.
Yes, we provide health insurance at an additional cost. Our health insurance covers any illness or injury that might happen from the moment students land at the airport. It also includes helicopter transfer in case of serious injury
No, medical insurance covers only medical expenses related to accident or new illness treatment while in the country (Switzerland or Japan).
Yes, you may consider flying to Zurich or Milan airports. Since both these airports are located further from the camp with additional driving time, an additional cost will be applied.
We suggest that the kids bring some spare money (approx. 200 CHF) to buy if needed goggles, gloves, long socks, thermal underwear long sleeves or some souvenirs.
Excursion is not part of the standard ski trip program, however it is possible to request one during the pre-arrival process.
Yes, our kitchen chefs are trained to cater to specific diets such as Halal, Koscher, Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-free and all other specific allergies. Please note that halal menu is available at an additional cost
The advantage of March and April months is the longer sun days with mild temperature in the villages, yet considerable snow layer on the slopes of all levels. We will ensure quality skiing/snowboarding for all the participants during this period.
If parents wish to stay in the same resort as their children, there are multiple opportunities: from hotels to apartment/chalet rentals. In Verbier, Les Elfes has a partner hotel – W Verbier. If parents book directly, they can request a 10% discount on the best available rate of this property.
During the stay at the camp, we ask parents to refrain from visits as it may cause mixed feelings for a child and other campers.
The rooming list provided for the group contains all the available rooms for all the participants. The trip leader can decide how he/she prefers to allocate students and teachers.
Yes, a towel is provided for each participant.
The hairdryers are available upon request at the camp’s reception desk.
No, laundry service is not available. We recommend that students pack sufficient number of changing clothes for a one week stay.
