Excursion days at Les Elfes Camp are always filled with excitement and adventure. This year, campers were divided into three groups, each embarking on a unique journey that promised both education and enjoyment.
Group 1: Discovering Bern and the Communication Museum
The first group set off early to the beautiful city of Bern. They explored the historic old town and visited the Communication Museum. The interactive exhibits showcased the evolution of communication, from ancient hieroglyphics to modern-day smartphones. Hands-on activities like creating postcards and trying out old telephones kept the kids entertained and educated.
Group 2: Exploring the Olympic Museum and Vevey
The second group headed to Lausanne to visit the Olympic Museum, situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva. The kids were fascinated by the extensive collection of Olympic memorabilia, including medals, torches, and athlete uniforms. Group 3: Sweet Adventures at the Cailler Chocolate Factory
The third group had a day filled with sweetness at the Cailler Chocolate Factory in Broc. They learned about the history of chocolate and the Cailler brand, watched the chocolate-making process, and sampled a variety of chocolates. The interactive exhibits and chocolate workshops allowed the kids to create their own chocolate bars.
