Have you thought about organising a holiday in Verbier and you would like your child to experience the thrill of a winter camp?

If you don’t feel ready to enrol your child in a residential camp, you might consider a day camp.

Day Camp 2024 for children aged 8 to 17

From the beginning of December until the end of April, from Sunday to Friday, Les Elfes International organize three day camp programmes of your choice: fully day (8.30-18.30), afternoon only (16.00 – 21.30) or extra long day (8.30- 21.30).

Simply accompany your children to Les Elfes International main office for drop off, and we will take care of their daily activities.

Day campers will have the opportunity to join residential campers, coming from all around the world, and spend the entire day with them.

We offer a variety of activities such as ski, snowboarding, torchlight walk, ice skating, swimming, board games , English, French, German or Spanish language courses, and more. Meals and ski passes are included.

Safety is of the upmost importance to us when planning our activities and we are continually working with highly-skilled staff, both inside the camp and outside.

Afternoon

From 16h00 to 21h30

Engaging après-ski activities:

– Language classes
– Village visit (supervised or not)

– Games on campus (sledge, arts&crafts…)

Day camp Daily schedule

Morning 8h30 - 12h00

8:30 a.m.
Parents drop off children at Les Elfes camp main office for hot chocolate.

8:45 a.m.:
Children are escorted to the cable car by Les Elfes International drivers for access to ski slopes with our snowsport animators.

9:00 – 12:00:
Day campers join the residential campers for 3 hours of skiing.

12:00 – 13:00:
Lunch at Les Elfes’ private mountain restaurant.

Afternoon 13h00 - 18h30

13:00 – 15:30:
Additional 2h30 hours of skiing under Les Elfes staff guidance.

15:30 – 16:15
Afternoon snack on campus.  

16:00:
Beginning of our “afternoon only program” – Drop off children at the Les Elfes International camp main office.

16:45 – 18:30:
Choice of different afternoon activities or optional language courses.

18:30:
Parents come on campus to pick up the children,  who don’t stay until the evening.

Evening 18h30 - 21h30

18:30 – 19:30:
Dinner for children staying on campus.

19:30 – 21:30:
Outdoor, on-campus, or sports centre activities are organized.

21:30:
Parents come on campus to pick up the children.

What to bring ?

Day campers will be accompanied to Les Elfes camps main office with the following items.

• Ski/Snowboard + boots
• Poles (only with skiing)
• Helmet mandatory
• Neck Buff/scarf
• Sun screen SPF 30+
• Gloves
• Googles
• Warm ski clothes
• NO jeans under pants

We also suggest that they bring a backpack with a change of clothes:

• Sneakers, snowshoes
• Dry high-knee socks
• Warm layer (fleece jumper, sweatpants)
• Swimsuit & Towel
• Pocket money in case of village visit
• Notebook and pen for language courses

Ski and snowboard day camp

Our team of certified ski and snowboard guides accompanies students in small groups of 6, providing full-day guidance, mountain lunches and regular breaks. Throughout our winter day camp programmes, we adhere to a structured progression model, which ensures students have a clear understanding of their current performance levels and areas for improvement.

For all children

From absolute beginners, some of whom have never seen snow, to young athletes training with their school’s ski or snowboard teams, Les Elfes Winter Day Camp is suitable for all children. Our primary goal is to foster an environment where students can improve their skills while enjoying time on the slopes, making new friends with peers from all over the world, and exchanging valuable experiences.

Our varied menu ensures that children attending our winter day camp have an array of delicious options to choose from. From hot meals served in Les Elfes International private mountain restaurant to three-course evening feasts, every dish is a prepared by our chefs for young campers.
Our dedicated culinary team caters to diverse tastes, making sure campers are well-nourished and energized for their mountain adventures.
In addition to our regular meals, we provide afternoon snacks, giving campers the boost they need to make the most of their time with us.

We understand the importance of accommodating dietary preferences, which is why we offer options for vegetarian and halal diets. This ensures that every child can savor the experience, regardless of their culinary requirements.

Equipment

Having the proper ski equipment is essential for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. We have additional winter camp equipment and clothing rental, so you don’t need to worry. All equipment can be hired at Les Elfes winter camp on the arrival day. 1/3 of our equipment is renewed every year in order to be able to propose the newest equipment to our campers.

Campuses

Our two purpose built wood and stone chalets follow the Swiss Alpine tradition and offer charm and comfort to our guests. Both chalets are situated in green, peaceful nature surroundings.

Each Camp is supervised by a Resort Manager and an Activities Manager. Les Elfes runs the camps with all appropriate staff, including animators, kitchen staff, nurse, night guard, cleaning team, private drivers,…
