Optional Activities at Les Elfes Snow Camp

Focus on cultural activities

At Les Elfes International, our winter camp in Switzerland isn’t just about skiing and snowboarding. Our winter program is packed with exciting cultural excursions and entertaining language lessons in English, French, German, and Spanish. It’s the perfect adventure for your child’s winter holidays!

Language courses

To ensure we offer the best possible tuition for this snow camp in Switzerland to our students, we work in partnership with Verbier Language School to offer specialised teachers in each language for every course.

Students are grouped according to their language levels, with a maximum class size of 7 students per teacher. 3 types of courses, Conversational, Intensive and Private are available in French, English, Spanish, and German.

Excursions

Each of our cultural excursion days is a little different, with new options each year for those returning winter campers who are ready to see something new!

The excursions during our winter camp are not compulsory. Campers can choose to stay in Verbier and go skiing. Moreover, every week students can choose among 3 destinations.

Apres ski & evening activities

Alongside our full-day ski and snowboard lessons Les Elfes snow camp offers a full program of après-ski and evening activities. Students can choose from a range of kids’ winter camp activities including sledging, igloo building, torchlight hike, disco, ice skating, hockey, snowman building and many more.

Evening programs

Our winter camp evening programmes are tailored to meet the requirements of our campers. Our younger groups participate in an activities programme for the entire winter camp from 8pm until 9pm and our older groups from 8pm until 9:45pm, with bedtime at 10pm.

Prize-giving night

During the last night of winter camp, all of our campers will be participating in the prize giving night. Starting at 8 pm, our staff will be rewarding those campers who reached some particular criteria. A slideshow will be accompanying the night and entertaining the parents who have the opportunity to participate in the event.
This is also the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to the new friends met and the monitors during your time in winter snow camp Les Elfes.

In addition to the prizes received, at the end of the evening, every winter camp student will be handed the language certificate (if attending the language course) and the ski or snowboards level of progression certificate.
